VYPE: What are your personal goals this year ?
Jaden: This year I want to push myself to be stronger mentally and physically. I want to be faster than ever and beat a four minute mile so I can work on three minutes.I want to be better at every sport I play because there is always gonna be someone better and I would rather push myself to beat them than settle for where I’m at.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Jaden: The most fun I’ve had this year was going to Tennessee as a guest player for OEFC Navy. Those girls on that team are so fun to be around and always find a way to make me smile every time I see them. After games we would all go back to the hotel and mess around. They made me wear a skirt and crop top because they didn’t like my shorts and t-shirt. It was really funny to watch them get excited to see me in something different. I miss all of them so much and I can’t wait to see them again. On the way back we went to see a few colleges and it was really cool to walk around some of the campuses.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Jaden: I have two; Mrs. Moses and coach Fisher. Mrs. Moses was my English teacher in seventh and eighth grade. She always helped me when I was confused and she was always in a good mood. Coach Fisher has been my cross country coach for almost four years now and he always pushes me to be my best even when I’m struggling.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Jaden: My favorite athletic moment was when I was younger and I had a cross country race, softball, soccer, and basketball tournament. I had so much fun going from one sport to the next and I don’t think I ever had a better nap at the end of the day. I miss being so busy without having to worry about the pain that comes after. I miss being able to play all of those sports even with conflict and still being able to go out there and do my best.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Jaden: I would say my friends Avery Martin, Kailey, and Eddie. I have known Avery and Eddie ever since I started playing with OEFC Energy. They always make me so happy when I’m around them. Every time I see Eddie she’ll run up to me and give me a hug. Kailey I met later on but I feel like I’ve known her for years. Anytime her Avery and I are together we can never stop laughing. I love those girls and I miss all of them.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Jaden: The person who has the best impression of any of my coaches would be Andy. She acts like one of my soccer coaches Tommy and she always has so much energy. No matter how far or hard we run she always has a little bit of energy after. I love watching her live her life to the fullest.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Jaden: For my summer vacation I would go to Czech Republic with Avery Kailey Eddie and Sofia. I feel like we would all have a really good time there exploring and learning about new things we don’t have in America. I would also like to go see the family I have there. I’ve never met them but one day I really want to.
VYPE: If you had $500 and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Jaden:If I had $500 dollars to spend in 24 hours I would buy my whole family a present and my grandma whatever she wants because she does a lot for my family. Then I would give the rest of it to people I see on the streets in Oklahoma City so they can buy something to eat or buy a blanket.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Jaden: I want to say hello to Heather, my mom, dad, grandma Carlyon, Grandma Linda, Grandpa James, all of my cousins and friends.
